Late last summer, a chance encounter lead me to Solomon + Co. Hair Studio in Leucadia, CA. The owners, Leigh and Eric Zamora had a vision that their hair salon could be so much more than just a salon. They envisioned a community gathering place, where artists of all kinds could come together. Shortly after they opened, they began hosting local artists' work for two months at a time; kicking off each new artists' showing with a reception featuring a local musician, restaurant, and beer/wine purveyor. They mentioned they were still looking for artists to fill the spring months and in that moment something (blind millennial faith?) came over me and I nominated myself. Cue months of nervous laughter, Leigh and Eric encouraging me the whole time, and here I am... inviting you to come to my first photo show. All the details are on the flier below!
